I worked with Derek and team at Custom Home for my bathroom remodel. The experience couldn't have been better. We were able to complete the job in reasonable time and within the budget that I set for the project. The bathroom remodel consists of installing a new custom bathtub along with a custom shower layout. We had a 2 sink vanity installed in a custom countertop material. We researched and interviewed a few companies and found Custom Home to be the best in both their experience and their advanced project management system. What was more impressive is their dedication to their clients. After the job was completed, Derek and team followed up with us and gave my family a 2-year extended warranty on all labor. Worked with Derek and his team for a kitchen and bathroom remodel. This was my first remodel and I was a bit nervous because you hear so many horror stories regarding the estimated cost and time being extended or contractors being less than honest. Happy to say that this was not the case with Derek and his team. He provided an estimate for completion and cost and was right on the money. Even with a few changes that I added, he was still able to complete the remodel within the estimated time with great workmanship. Also, no mysterious costs that came out of nowhere. He was very easy to communicate with which I consider invaluable for a remodel project. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone who may be interested in a remodel.
Highly recommend Derek and his team like many other reviewers. He has performed many smaller projects such as repairs in the bathroom to full bathroom remodel, kitchen remodel and then finally building a full ADU in my backyard. Very responsive and Derek continues to monitor the work carefully. He is very reliable and provides updates very quickly. It was a pleasure to work with him and looking forward to many more projects.
I have worked with Custom Home with a couple of my investment projects in the past few years. Overall, I found the company to be professional and true to their word. In all of the projects we were able to finish in reasonable time and the result was better than expected. Our projects all came in within budget which was one of my biggest concerns working with other contractors.
I am grateful that Custom Home was so fast and agreeable. In less than 10 days, they completed all demolition, repair, and new construction. This constituted removing and replacing my kitchen and bathroom floors, gutting the bathroom and completely redoing it, repairing part of the roof and the stucco around the bathroom window. They even covered removing parts of my kitchen counters, as well as replacing drywall that another contractor had not replaced. Overall, for a first time working with a general contractor I'd say I had a good experience.
The crew was very responsive and did everything they could to get our two bathrooms done on time for the move-in. We did the shopping for all the parts ourselves, however the crew was willing to help with picking up, which was convenient especially for the big items like bathtubs and toilets. After the handover we found some minor visible issues but the team was happy to help touching up.
Excellent work. Did an outstanding job identifying all the problems with the home inspection. They were very professional and their price is very competitive. Did an outstanding job remodeling the bathroom and kitchen. My wife was very satisfied.
